Blondies

6 tablespoons(3/4 stick) unsalted butter
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 large eggs
¾ cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Coat an 8-inch square baking pan with
Nonstick oil spray(not olive oil). In a medium saucepan melt over medium heat, butter with brown sugar until smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat and let stand for 3 minutes, then stir in vanilla. Working quickly to prevent curdling, whisk in eggs. Stir in flour and baking powder to make a thick batter. If you are using chocolate chips, fold in .
